O2 Project Taumarunui to Stratford Cycle Ride

THE FORGOTTEN WORLD HIGHWAY 155KMS CYCLE CHALLENGE & THE NEW "OUT AND BACK" CHALLENGE!

2011 - Sunday 16th October

22 hill climbs, 12kms of flat metal road, 1 long dark tunnel & 7 railway crossings! Solo and two person teams. Changeover at Whangamomona. Be prepared to cycle one of the most scenic and remote cycle rides in New Zealand.

Car pool from Club Rooms in Stratford on Saturday afternoon at 4pm.  There is no organised meal on Saturday night this year.

Start times from Taumarunui on Sunday morning are 7.30am, 8am & 8.30am.

Also avaliable this year is an out and back ride.  The first day starts in Stratford at 8am (Saturday 15th October) and goes through to Taumarunui.  The return ride starts on Sunday (details above).
